The crew at Salt Line Construction made my renovation experience of the old Pruitt’s Store a pleasure. Some would have torn down the old store. However the structure itself is considered an historic contributing structure. With the skill set of Ken and Keith along with Donnie and other able crew members, they jacked it up, replaced the foundation and basically restored it to brand new condition, thus saving the structure and a piece of Beaufort history!
We converted the store into a two bedroom, two bath house and used as much of the reclaimed material from the original structure as we could. The results could not have turned out better–a perfect blend of old and new!
